Overview

‘South India Hill Safari Tour’ will give you the chance to explore the two most amazing states of Southern India, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.Tamil Nadu which is the land of history culture and tradition along with natural beauty of the beaches and hills multi-religious pilgrimage sites. Kerala is one of the most beautiful state in Southern part of India on the Malabar Coast which blessed with unique geographical features that have made it one of the most sought after tourist destinations in India. Kerala is also known as “God’s own Country’’ as the state is surrounded by backwaters lies with Palm trees, stunning hill stations, wildlife, rich culture and heritage.  During the tour you will get the chance to explore some of the most beautiful places in both dates such as Ooty and Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu and Munnar and Cochin in Kerala. The duration of the tour is 07 nights and 08 days, which gives you the chance to explore the main attractions of the place.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Coimbatore - Ooty (By Road - 100 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Upon your arrival at the Coimbatore Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative, after welcome, drive to Ooty.
On reaching, check into your pre booked hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for sightseeing tour of Ooty. During the tour you will cover some major attractions of the city such as Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak, apart from this you will also get an opportunity to shop at the local markets of Ooty. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2 :  Ooty

Post breakfast, proceed for the tour of in and around Ooty, including Koddandu Point, Ketty Valley, Lamb’s Park, Tea Gardens, Dolphin’s Nose, Rose Garden, Avalanche and Sim’s Park.After sightseeing, return back to the Ooty. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 :  Ooty - Kodaikanal (By Road - 260 Kilometres)

After breakfast, proceed for Kodaikanal by road. On the way, visit the Palani Temples. Once you reach Kodaikanal, check into your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 :   Kodaikanal Sightseeing

Today after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kodaikana, enjoy the boating at Kodaikanal Lake, after boating , visit some other attractions such as Cocker's Walk, Bear Shola Falls, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Green Valley View,. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5 :  Kodaikanal - Munnar (By Road - 160Kilometres)Sightseeing

After an early breakfast, drive to Munnar, it is one of the most picturesque hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala which offers the stunning view of the tea plantations and Cardamom hills

On reaching, check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, you may take leisure walk around the breath-taking surroundings of the town. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 :  Munnar Sightseeing

Post breakfast, proceed to visit to Eravikulam National Park. A former hunting preserve of British planters this park today exemplifies wildlife conservation at its best. The main draw here is the Nilgiri Tahr, a highly endangered species of wild goat which was all put poached to extinction in 1950, before an NGO stepped in and ensured the habitat was delayered a sanctuary. The sanctuary is located at the height of about 7000 feet, will offers the stunning views of the surroundings.
Later visit the Mattupetty Dam and the Dairy Farm. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 7 :   Munnar - Cochin (By Road -150 Kilometres)Sightseeing

Today after having an early breakfast, get transferred to Cochin by road.Kochi is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most beautiful city of the state of Kerala.

On arrival at your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for a half day sightseeing covering the places such as Bolgatty Palace, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets and spice market.
In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 :   Cochin Departure

Today is the last day of the tour, after breakfast, get transferred to the railway station or the airport to board a flight or train for your onward journey.We hope you have enjoyed your trip and look forward to organizing your next tour with us.
